You Are Searching for Happiness in the Wrong Place
😁Happiness is not found where most people expect it. Speaking specifically to men, I believe happiness does not ❌ come from comfort - from money - or from material things. Sure, people can be happy when they possess these, but they are not happy simply because they have them. There are plenty of men in the world who are wealthy and unhappy, and even miserable. 📈Happiness comes from progress, from growth, from improvement. And the funny thing about growth... it does not happen in a state of comfort. Growth only happens in a state of discomfort. 🛋️This is not to say that comfort is bad... Big Picture... if you strive for comfort, for comfort sake, this will not make you happy. If you strive for money for money's sake... this will not make you happy. 💭There needs to be a bigger purpose, a why, behind what you are striving for. You need to be seeing progress, growth, improvement. 💸Personally, what I am striving for, is a greatly increased income, with a specific amount in mind, with a specific timeline for its acquisition, with a specific why behind this benchmark I intend to accomplish. Now, I ask you... Do You Agree? Did I Miss Something? Share your thoughts below! 👇

What Gets Measured Gets Managed
💭Have you heard the saying: "What Gets Measured Gets Managed" I believe this is one of the most important unlocks for self-development... Here's why: Most people focus on goals... the problem... without systems in place... you are just talking yourself up 📊Why Measure? Measuring and tracking your starting point and actions helps you know where you are starting, where you are, what your actions have been, and leaves no place to hide... Accountability 📈Other Benefits of Measuring? Over time, you can review your tracking docs to understand why things have turned out the way they have. Don't like where you are at? Change your "inputs" (daily actions) to impact your "outputs" (your results). If you don't track/measure things in life, related to your goals, it is significantly harder to achieve results. This is at least true for me.... 🤔What do you think? Do you find it necessary to tracking areas of your life you are seeking to improve? Vote Below 👇 Follow-up Question: Have you put it into practice, and if so, where have you applied it?

What is Most Important in Personal Finance?
Is it Income? Is it Savings? Is it something else? Here are my 2 cents: It doesn't matter how much you earn, it doesn't matter how much you have saved, what matters most, is the gap between your earnings and your expenses. Stated differently, your personal cash flow (the difference between your income and expenses) is the most important personal finance metric. Your Cash Flow determines your trajectory. Monthly Positive Cash Flow Example --> Personal Finances, Improving Over Time Earn: $5,000 Spend: $3,000 Cash Flow = $5,000 - $3,000 = $2,000 Monthly Negative Cash Flow Example --> Personal Finances, Worsening Over Time Earn: $20,000 Spend: $25,000 Cash Flow = $20,000 - $25,000 = - $5,000 It doesn't matter how much you earn. It doesn't matter how much you spend. What matters is the gap between your earning and your spending (your personal cash flow). Your cash flow determines where your personal finance trajectory. HABITS are the Most Important Piece of Self-Development.
❓3 Questions for you: 1- Do you agree? 2 - How would you define a Habit? 3 - What Habits are you working on developing? Here's my take.💭 Habits are the actions we repeatedly take, often on autopilot. These are the things we have done so many times, that we do them without thinking... out of routine. Is this oversimplified? Absolutely! But in general... habits help us avoid decision making fatigue... as these "decisions" are made without us being involved (again... autopilot). There are many valuable bits of information on Habits... and how they play into personal development... but here is a simple summary of the impacts. The exact percentage varies depending on who you ask... but roughly half of our daily decisions are made out of habit. 🤔Why does this matter? Because if our habits determine what we do... and what we do determines what actions are executed... and the actions executed determine our results... that means our habits directly feed into our results and our outcomes. Habits are created out of repetition. Actions driven by habits are done over and over again. 📈Results tend to come from consistent actions... regardless of what discipline you are working to improve. Bringing it all together... habits help with consistency. Consistency helps with results. If we are seeking to develop ourselves... we need to build strong habits. And to build strong habits... it sure helps to have an understanding of how habits are formed... how we can build good ones... and how we can destroy bad ones.
