Surrender Is Your Strength
The enemy isn’t intimidated by Christians who show up to church once a week but live the rest of their lives in their own strength. He fears the ones who wake up daily, deny themselves, take up their cross, and choose obedience—again and again. Because surrender shuts the door on him. When you surrender your thoughts, he loses his influence over your mind. When you surrender your emotions, he loses his grip on your heart. When you surrender your plans, he can’t distort your direction. When you surrender your past, he can’t use shame against you anymore. Surrender isn’t weakness. It’s strength. As we head into the weekend, I want you to take 5 quiet minutes with the Lord. Look back on an area of your life you’ve already surrendered to Him—where you’ve seen growth, obedience, or even small steps forward. Thank Him for that. Then gently ask: “Lord, where am I still holding on? What can I release to You next?”
