Had an awesome call yesterday with an owner of a $1B portfolio! He was an AM guest as well and in a similar space as me. He gave me some great advice on our M&A strategy as I have been getting really frustrated lately. For me, I need at least 10 active deals at a time in order for 2 to close. And get the owner in a face to face meeting as soon as possible. Finally follow up, follow up, follow up and stay around the hoop on lost deals.
