A Brief chat with ChatGPT about my E-Scooter Tire Listing Guide--More on this to come.
Here’s a clear, side-by-side comparison between your experience-driven list and the general popular size list I shared earlier — with notes on what’s the same, what’s different, and why. 📊 Side-by-Side Comparison Your LabelYour Sizes / NotesMy Popular SizesMatch / Notes "S" 8.5" × 2" (straight/angled) — 50/75-6.18.5" × 2" (50/75-6.1)✅ Exact match — this is one of the most common small scooter tires. "M" 10" × 2.125" (straight/angled) — 60/70-6.5 (called 10 × 2.50 too)10" × 2.125", 10" × 2.5"✅ Matches both popular formats — the 2.125 and 2.5 labeling overlap in industry use and tire marketing. "L"" 10" × 2.75–3" — 70/65-6.5 or 85/65-6.510" × 3"⚠️ Partially matched — you’re spanning a wider range than the typical 10 × 2.5 group, into larger/wider off-road style sizes. "XL" 11" × ~3" — 90/65-6.5 (fits tubeless 100/65-6.5)11" × 2.5", 11" × 3"✅ Closely aligns — 11" × 3" is part of the extended popular set, and tubeless 100/65 as an upgrade makes sense.' "XXL" 12" × 2.5" (angled valve)(Not in my earlier popular list)❌ Less common overall — 12" wheels are more niche (larger/“adventure” scooters). 🔎 What’s Consistent Between Lists 🎯 Same Core Sizes - 8.5" × 2" (50/75-6.1) — your S size = common commuter size - 10" × 2.125/2.5 (60/70-6.5) — your M size = very common mid-range size - 11" × ~3 (90/65-6.5) — your XL = growing in popularity for comfort/off-road - These sizes match both real world service experience and broader market prevalence. 🔍 What Differs 📌 Your “L” (10 × 2.75–3) - You’re capturing extra-wide 10” tires (often used on scooters with bigger fenders or off-road kits). - My earlier list included 10" × 3" at the chunky end; your version spans the whole wide range. - That’s fine — it reflects your field experience where tire width varies by brand and tread type. 📌 Your “XXL” (12 × 2.5) - Larger wheels like 12" exist (e.g., on heavier dual-motor or high-clearance scooters). - They’re less common globally than 8.5"–11", but you’ve clearly seen them frequently in flats work. - That’s not in the “most popular” general list — because most scooters don’t use 12", but it is a valid heavy-duty category.

DIY Guide to How To Fix ANY E-Scooter Flat Tire Wheel - *Start here*
*START HERE* with our Sizing Guide: Your e-scooter's wheel is either "pneumatic" or "non-pneumatic." This means that you either put air in them and there is an Inner Tube and an Outer Tire; OR you do not and therefore it would be a solid rubber or solid plastic tire. "Pneumatic" tires are better because they provide the resistance and shock value and the 'riding on air' feeling. Plastic Non-pneumatic tires are close to junk, and if your e-scooter is "non-pneumatic," you will have a tough time installing new solid rubber tires because it requires a large amount of force from a specific "crank" machine that is only offered in China. If your e-scooter is pneumatic, congratulations! You made a better consumer decision, but perhaps the tire went flat on you, well now you can fix it yourself with the help of this guide. Your e-scooter outer tire (the rubber) will have numbers on it. Those numbers will either have American Values i.e. numbers in inches(") OR 2 or 3 ' aspect ratio' numbers. For instance : 8.5" x 2" or "Eight and a half Inches by Two Inches" is the same as a ' 50/75-6.1' And the tire may only say one of these things on it. Scooter Operations has thus come up with size categories and sizes for MOST if not ALL pneumatic e-scooter wheels. Maybe in the list below you can find your specific e-scooter model that we have fixed and filmed in our "Virtual Repairs Shop." OR MAYBE in the list below can find the same size tire from a comparable e-scooter model to yours as the e-scooter brand and model market is extremely saturated. From there, Go our Classroom, where you will find full-scale videos on how to dismantle your e-scooter wheel, replace the inner tube and fix your flat tire from start to finish. Each and every lesson is broken down into 2 Parts where in Part 1 we take the wheel and tire off and apart and out and identify the tube and order it and in Part 2 we "Put Humpty Dumpty back together again," or re-assembling the e-scooter so it becomes ridable.

The 5 "Golden" Inner Tube Sizes for E-Scooters - Scooter Operations Inner Tube Size Classification
These are the 5 "Golden" Inner Tube Sizes. I will soon have these five size tubes in inventory in stacks in my shop because these 5 sizes are the ones that fit most of the e-scooters that come through my shop (in Phoenix, Arizona.) The key point here is that these tubes can be dependent upon the angle of the "Valve Stem," on your model e-scooter --And Yes, the Angle of the Valve Stem can be specific as well... it is therefore always most useful to identify which tube to buy by replacing the inner tube exactly for what it is when you remove the old one. Because of the angle of the valve stem, various links are provided because they are sourced from various places. E-Scooter Tires, also have a "3 Value Name," --3 numbers stamped on them, which is similar to Motorcycle Tires. To me, the "3 Values" don't make intuitive sense, but I found this post that explains it if anyone wants to read on it. But for now, these are the Five Golden Sizes of E-Scooter Inner Tubes: [ "S" - 8.5" x 2" w/ Straight Valve Stem, 8.5" x 2" w/ Angled Valve Stem - 50/75-6.1 Fits: JETSON "M" - 10" x 2.125" w/ Straight Valve Stem, 10" x 2.125" w/ Angled Valve Stem -60/70-6.5, also called 10' x 2.50" or 10 x 2.125-2.50 Fits AOVO PRO ESMAX "L" - 10 x 2.75" - 3" w/ Straight Valve Stem, 10 x 2.75"-3" w Angled Valve Stem - 70/65-6.5 OR 85/65-6.5 (CUNFUN)
