We Are All Human Data Experts...

In July 2025 I purchased

's Certified Chief AI Officer Program: AI Strategy & Governance.

The training remains some of the best I have ever invested in (and something I would 100% recommend), but it also provided a bit of a dilemma; I knew I wanted to go all-in with AI, but I also knew I had a great deal to learn.

In addition I had a day job providing marketing services, marketing coaching, consulting and while I enjoyed working with clients, I needed to find a way of combining the skills (marketing) I had mastered over the last 30 years, with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go all-in with AI.

By a great amount of chance and fortune I came across a company called micro1 who were (and still are) looking for subject matter experts to train AI in their relevant areas on behalf of many of the frontier AI labs we talk about and use every day.

I became a certified Expert AI Trainer in the area of Marketing and during the first 41 days I made over $10k (video case study to follow in the not-too-distant 😊).

micro1 CEO Ali Ansari calls those with domain knowledge and expertise 'Human Data Experts' and over the past few months I have been blazing the HDE trail introducing this new industry (which Ali believes will be a $1 Trillion industry in the not-too-distant future), to others.

My belief is everyone here in the School of AI should seriously consider becoming a Human Data Expert, which basically involves signing up on platforms like micro1, and being added to their talent pool.

Moving forward I am studying to be an advisor to C-Suite executives, promoting the HDE industry and I seriously want to be part of all the awesomeness Vivian is creating here at School of AI.

But bills need to be paid, food needs to be put on the table and lights need to be kept on!

Which is where part-time AI training comes in.

I've been paid $15.00 / hour and most recently for a gig on behalf of Alignerr powered by Labelbox paid me $300 / hour for 4 hours work.

As you study and implement all this fantastic School of AI training I have little doubt the rewards will be yours...

But it can take time, and even better you can use the skills you learn here to train AI and be well-compensated in the meantime.
