San Diego Facebook Advertising 3 Tips & Strategies
Local business owners and experts.... We've been seeing outstanding results with Facebook ads in the local market here in 2026. So I wanted to share 3 strategies that can help you generate new leads and customers with simple Facebook ads and even a tiny budget of $5 or $10/day. ✅ Tip #1: Keep Your Ad Images Simple Fact is most people can quickly understand how a local business or local contractor would be of service to them. If there's an electrical issue; homeowners know to look for an electrian. Teeth are yellow? People know to find a dentist. Need to lose weight? We know to find a local gym or health club. So ads in a local market can be very straightforward. This means that your actual ad images should use big font & clearly state your offer. The mistake would be to overthink it and to create a "busy ad graphic" that has too small of font to read and looks messy. Bonus: Use bold fonts at the top and bottom of your ad graphics. Example headline font: "New Dental Office in San Diego." Example bottom font: "New patients get a teeth cleaning for xyz". ✅ Tip #2: Before and After photos work wonders They say a picture is worth a thousand words.... A before and after photo can do the selling for you on the quality or craftsmanship of your work. This makes it so that you need less words in your graphic as well. Which ties back to tip #1 that less is more when you have an obvious service. Other images that work well are those of women. Women respond to ads with women in them more frequently as do men. Bonus: If you have a good reputation such as 4 or 5 star rating on Yelp or Google include this in your ad copy that accompanies your ad graphic. You can also state how long you've been in business as a unique selling angle. ✅ Tip #3: Hyper target specific neighborhoods Mentioning where you are located or specifically creating campaigns to target certain neighborhoods immediately increases the relevancy of your ad. People love feeling that an ad or message is specifically for them.
