Why are you not studying?
You say you want to close more deals or get better at setting appointments, but when's the last time you sat down and studied the craft? Or done a webinar etc...
Yes it's true you get better by executing, but studying the game is an invaluable part in getting better. That and reviewing your past convos for where you could have done better.
