I know we often look for learning how to use cameras, lighting, colour grading and flashy edits....
BUT
One skill that often goes unrecognised is camera confidence, and what i mean by that is using it out in public. See everyone is used to phones it's become accepted but not everyone has a camera and the second they see it... they can start acting a little strange!
I am getting better at this now, it comes with time and practice, i film in the gym but only when it's quiet because it's too stressful when its busy and you can't get the shots anyway but outdoors in public i'm practicing more and more now.
Wanted to bring this point up because you could learn absolutely everything but if you can't go out with your camera confidently in to a public space you won't get any shots, i feel this is an over looked skill.
