Should I run this auction?
I was talking to a soccer coach.
He helps 13-16 year old kids become the best players on their team in 90 days with an everyday life plan.
It works.
He used to sell it for $500.
Now he’s switched to a $29/month Skool community and has 71 members.
But here’s the hitch…
Kid wins an auction for $5K?
It’s not his wallet that feels it. It’s Mom’s. Or Dad’s.
He’s got an email list of 400 parents.
20K+ on Instagram. About 9% are aged 35–44. Also known as… the ones footing the bill.
So here’s the puzzle I’m chewing on:
- Do I run the auction and speak to the parents?
- Do I run it to the kids and make them BEG their parents?
- Or do I skip the auction entirely and find a better play?
