He'd pop into Facebook here and there with his classic...
"Mornin', fuckers!"
Which I always found hilarious.
Last Christmas (2024) I sent Landon a message...
"Merry Christmas, fucker!"
He got a good laugh from that.
Landon has a certain flavor that likely doesn't mix with everyone.
Which I dig.
So I'm sure when someone who appreciates his flavor messages him like that...
There's a mutual appreciation.
Fast forward a few months...
I made a post in FB (See screenshot below).
I ain't sayin it was the post that did it.
I'm sure the timing was right as well.
For both os us.
Only a few days before that I'd had a brain breakthrough.
My entire adult life (and maybe 6 or 7 years as a youth?)...
...I'd been chasing money.
Like hot pursuit!
Ya, I chased it down here and there.
- Had a kick ass roofing company.
- Did some cool stuff online.
- Etc.
But that chase gets SUPER tiring.
It affected my health.
Made some major health changes a year ago.
And made one HUGE belief shift back in March.
I'd rather chase legacy than money.
Not being famous or anything like that.
Famous people have to travel. YUCK!
By legacy I mean...what am I leaving this world when I'm gone.
Especially for my family.
So that one little shift and a FB post...
Hasn't turned into a huge payday.
Yet.
But Landon and I have some killer things cookin...
A few partners.
A few groups.
An app.
Some tools.
Rad ideas.
The payday pop is comin (will certainly share those wins as they come).
But the greatest wins are the ones where people connect to do dope shit.
Money is the bi-product of rad connections.
The wisdom in this is keep pluggin along.
Hang out with rad people.
Check yourself now and then.
ANd when the time is right..."Merry Christmas, fucker!"
