Imagine a handyman who wanted to get on a call to talk to you about hammers?
Big NO!
Borrrrrring!
I bet you’ve got a hammer already too!
You’ve got waaaay better things to do, right?
But…
Imagine the handyman sends you a text…
“Hey, I drove by the other day and noticed your front door was pretty warn and starting to warp? Is water getting in? Do you need any help with that?”
Same with sales and marketing…
“Hey, I was on your webinar the other day. You have the most innovative way to get vacant land deals I’ve ever seen. I think every new investor should start this way. Would you like to get in front of more business owners (like me) looking to get into vacant land?”
^I’ve researched this. I’ve done it. I know they WANT this.
When they say YES!
Then have a fun Zoom coffee date!
Talking about THEIR people’s problems, the industry challenges, then THEIR goals and what they want to build or fix.
Once you explore and find a “job” they want to get done that they don’t have the time, energy or expertise for then you make your Risk Free Proposal.
They don’t give a shizz about your toolbox.
It would be weird if they did!
Have a coffee date…
Not a sales call to sell them your hammer/sales saver/rainmaker/ai tool.
You will be surprised at how fun, easy and the directions you can go.
But for the love of all that is holy!
Stop talking about your tools.
Especially in the DMs.
They absolutely do not want to schedule a call to talk about a hammer:-)
Rooting for Ya,
Travis
