Normally, I get my audiobooks from free library apps or I use my audible subscription. When looking for the rest of the plated prisoner series, I couldn't find any of them on my library apps. And I really didn't want to have to wait or add more credits to my audible sub. On instagram, I saw this app called chirpbooks, where you can buy audiobooks without a monthly subscription. Now, most of the books are normal price, but they do provide sales and discounts on some items. but I feel like I hit a jackpot🎰, because they the last 3 of the 🕊️Gild books (the plated prisoner series) for only $15. Then I also found the graphic audios of the last 2 Cresent City books, both parts 1&2 for only $15 as well. So $30 for 7 audiobooks. That's a win considering the cresent city audiobooks are like $20 for one part. Just to give you all another option. This is the link if you want to check it out. In the US, it's President's day, so we have the day off of work. I figured it was a good day to get cozy & tap into a guilty pleasure. What's your current guilty pleasure? (No shame here!) Tell me something good.... What is one good thing that happened to you this week? I'll go first...I got caught up on my lesson planning for the week and am now 2 weeks ahead as far as teaching goes. And I am almost finished with Book 3 of the Plated Prisoner series (Gleam).
