So @Elliott H and I were having lunch today before his guitar lesson and I get a tap on my shoulder, I turn and its this guy! @Sterling Lynch And we all just got to sit down and catch up, Sterling’s been busy and as he said “burning the candle not at both ends… but ALL ends!”. So it was really nice to have a few minutes together talking about our community, and weighing in on what Fender is trying to do, now that they finally found a court in Germany to give them a favorable ruling… and talking guitar in general!

I come up with this concept to teach the Musical Alphabet, and I work on it, get the illustrations and my whole sort… And then someone sees it, and “tries something” and makes it 100 times better! Like CRUSHES it out of the park! That someone in this case, is our own @Ricardo Ponce !! He made it into a video with sound and foley effects and music! It’s a billion times better now. Its in the Classroom, as a second course! He also has a community here if you didn’t know it, all about teaching Guitar Repair! Click on his profile, Signal Guitar Repair. His backstory is awesome. @Elliott H and I were fortunate to meet with and hang out with him at his home, studio - his “room” is freaking awesome! He really needs to share those pictures! I tried to buy every guitar he’d made, it seemed. It was quite the visit. I’m bringing my Breedlove and every other guitar to him in San Antonio the first chance I get! Anyways, what a display of generosity, from our new friend! The two videos are awesome, and now you all know know who to credit! PS I want to get one of those T shirts when you get them going, amigo!
