What are your ride plans today? Any cool photos from your rides or of your training setups?
I’m hoping to do a few mins of ab rolling 3/4 times throughout the day. I can keep it really controlled to manage my POTS symptoms but still get some sort of movement in. When I was racing I could not train/compete properly without spending a minimum of 30 mins a day doing core - usually an hour. I always found that the ab roller would really strengthen up my lower/mid back and this stopped the back pain for me (Pretty sure that my bars were too low but we learn!) . If I missed it for a few days then I would be pretty sore with it and it would hold me back - so it’s a good routine to get into!
I probably wouldn’t recommend using an ab roller straight away as it takes months to build up to I would say. But some sort of daily routine of core and stretching can be good for sure. I’m normally an afternoon/evening person for this as I’d prefer to recover for a few hours after training instead of diving straight into it post ride as you are delaying your post ride meal and limiting recovery. But that’s what worked for me 😎
