Is an Homage disrespectful?
Disclaimer: I fully agree that fake watches are a plague on the watch community and no one should fuel these counterfeiters with money.
That said: I think as long as you're not trying to lie or pretending to actually have a $60,000 Patek Nautilus that buying an homage so you can really enjoy a watch design that you love is perfectly fine. There are nuances to the argument. One being that a 1:1 is too much and companies with homage watches should change it up a little. What do you guys think?
This is my Pagani. All stainless steel with a seagull ST6 automatic movement, a sapphire crystal, milled butterfly clasp and an exhibition case back all for a fraction of a fraction of the price of a Nautilus.
