Diamonds don’t come from comfort, They come from pressure
There are seasons where you are doing everything you know to do. You’re praying. You’re tithing. You’re giving your all. You’re standing on the Word. And yet… what the Word says will happen doesn’t seem to be happening yet. Those are the moments when faith is tested the deepest. Right now, in our home, we are walking through pressure. As our 12 years of marriage approaches, we’ve lost two incomes, and the weight of it is real. We are being pressed. We are being sifted. And if you’ve ever walked with God long enough, you know those seasons don’t come to destroy you — they come to refine you. Diamonds don’t come from comfort. They come from pressure. I want to remind you today, and myself too, that we cannot live by what we see. We must live by what we believe. God hears us. God sees us. Silence does not mean absence. Delay does not mean denial. One of the reminders sitting on my desk says this: “Everything I’m going through will soon be what I made it through. ”And that’s a Word. This season reminds me of my devotional, Worshiping in Your Trials. Because worship isn’t just for when things feel good — it’s for when you’re trusting God even when you don’t understand the process. Don’t let the enemy pull you out of position when God is preparing to bring you through. Keep your eyes on things above, not on the pressure below. Guard your mind. Reject stinking thinking. Truth changes outcomes. If you’re standing in faith today, drop an AMEN in the comments and share a Bible verse you’re standing on. Let’s encourage one another — because so many are quietly walking through hard seasons right now. Don’t forget you’re loved, you’re seen, and you’re valued. And as always, go out there and make the next person smile because we do not know what the next person’s going through. 💛✨Y’all, you are so loved.
