SCRIPTURE ENCOURAGEMENT
These verses from psalm have encouraged me this week: He is the lifter of my head. He fills my heart with gladness. Which verses have you been encouraged by lately?
Seasons
This season looks so different. I used to wake up, phone on, check all the things, slam caffeine & a shake, train clients, get kids to school, train more and go go go go go....God got the very end of the day MAYBE if I wasn’t too tired. Days are slower now & I appreciate them so much however what I know is that what you prioritize you'll make time for. I wish I had prioritized time with Jesus more back then. Sure I went to Bible study on Wed and church Sundays but He wasn't "daily bread". We can't go back in time to fix anything ladies...the "I wish I had done xyz" statements are not empowering. However what we learned is. In my quiet time with Jesus this morning I wrote about my past and how grateful I am for everything I learned. Then I read a story in the Old Testament about a little boy hidden away while a wicked queen tried to wipe out his whole family line...No matter what, God always has a plan. He is always moving in the background. Sure maybe we could have done things differently but no matter what friend, no matter what, God ALWAYS has a plan for us. He will use our past. He will use our present. It is just important to recognize the season you are in and take advantage of it. This season is unique. It is slower. We can either fight against it or work with it. For me this season is all about stewardship. Stewarding my body, mind, spirit, very intentionally & often taking inventory of what I've learned in order to grow & always with an attitude of gratitude. I'm so very very grateful. What is one thing you are grateful for this season of your life?
