Know your enemy

🦜Bean & I had a great Bible study this morning....& I was reminded how important it is to know how the enemy operates.

In Job, Satan tells the Lord he's been roaming the earth. Roaming. Looking. Prowling around for someone to devour. Then I looked up what the word Satan actually means....adversary, accuser, opponent.

Accuser. That one brought back memories....

Because I know that voice. Maybe you do too. The one that whispers you're too far gone, too tired, too old, too broken, too much. God won't forgive you. That's not your voice friend....& it's definitely not God's. Remember sis, Satan is the father of lies.

But here's what encouraged me most. In Job, Satan couldn't touch a thing without God's permission. Not one thing. He roams, but he's on a leash. And the same Jesus who said the enemy comes to kill, steal & destroy said He came so we could have life....full, abundant life. Forgiven. Free. And a new creation.

The accuser talks. But he doesn't get the final word. 💜 We all know the story...Job remained faithful despite Satan's attack & he was blessed 10x over. "What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good."

What lie has the accuser been whispering to you lately?

Drop it below & let's speak truth over it together. 🙏
