Efficient Way to Deliver 1099s

We’re looking for ways to improve 1099 delivery to clients. Currently we send emails to top clients and their CPAs with a ShareFile link to the tax docs that we’ve uploaded one-by-one. We send the same to other clients who request tax docs from us each year. An attractive solution to this inefficient system is to utilize a custodial integration with a client portal that allows us to bulk push tax docs from custodian to client vault folders. Ideally we can then direct clients (and CPAs) to the portal / vault to access. If you've done this, how well does it work in practice? Any other ways to address 1099 delivery? Thanks.
