Choose Meaning over Urgency
Using Meaning over Urgency (or false urgency) to stay Trusted and Effective as a leader. So this subject came up recently. Many leaders have been taught that urgency sharpens focus and drives performance. And sometimes, it does. Deadlines can energize, align attention, and cut through hesitation. But when everything is framed as urgent, the signal gets lost in the noise. People stop discerning what truly matters. They rush instead of think, react instead of create, and over time, disengage from the very outcomes they once cared about. Urgency, when overused, doesn’t create excellence—it erodes it. In my past role as a Global Mindset and Culture Guide and a member of the Global Leadership Team for Hästens Beds, and through the lens of the book When Business Is Love, I’ve seen that sustainable high performance comes from a very different place. It comes from clarity, trust, and meaning. When people understand why their work matters—when they feel connected to a deeper identity and purpose—they don’t need constant pressure to perform. They move with intention. They choose responsibility, rather than having it forced upon them. This is not a slower way of working; it is a more intelligent and human one. There are moments, of course, when urgency is appropriate. A critical decision, a time-sensitive opportunity, or a genuine risk can call for decisive, accelerated action. Effective leaders use urgency sparingly and deliberately, like a spotlight rather than a floodlight. They define what truly requires speed and protect the rest of the organization from unnecessary pressure. In doing so, they preserve the team’s ability to think deeply, collaborate meaningfully, and execute with quality. What often gets overlooked is that urgency operates on a lower, reactive energy—one driven by pressure, fear, or avoidance. By contrast, meaning and identity operate on a higher, more generative level. When leaders anchor their teams in positive associations—who we are, what we stand for, and the impact we create—the emotional experience of pursuing outcomes changes. The desire to achieve no longer feels stressful or forced; it becomes compelling. People lean in not because they have to, but because it aligns with who they are.

The Most Dangerous Man
The most dangerous man you will ever meet is not a violent or psychotic man. The Most DANGEROUS Man is a man who can have his life and identity pulled out from under him in a single stroke of another person's pen - being plunged into a dark night of the soul, then single handedly rise up out of the darkness to stand fully in the light of his own greatness - when the dark deceiver - pure logic - will tell you that the best answer is to just give up - quit - accept defeat. This act of visceral fortitude requires more will and skill than ANY Other Success that life has to offer. It's the outcome equivalent of defeating death itself. The dangerous man has discovered with EXACT Precision - what it takes to lead himself - BEFORE he leads others. But to be capable of giving that to another human being - you must already have it. If you weren't born with it or if it wasn't programmed into you at an early point in life - You CAN Acquire it. But YOU must CHOOSE to accept it. The door is open. Step through the door - Accept the Gift of The Most Dangerous Man - and eliminate the friction that threatens to be the demise of your Desired Outcomes. Dare to be dangerous. hashtag#leader hashtag#ledership hashtag#mindset hashtag#mindsetcoach hashtag#highperformsnce hashtag#mentwlperformnce hashtag#strategicmindset hashtag#dangerousman hashtag#mostdangerousman

Lead Us Not Into Temptation But Deliver Us From Evil
You were taught that this line in The Lord’s Prayer is about Satan, about demons, about external forces trying to drag you down. And while that may be one layer, it's not the deepest layer, because the most insidious evil isn't what attacks you from the outside. It’s the voice that speaks in your own tone - but isn't actually you. The Aramaic word here is ‘Bisha’, meaning ‘The Hurtful One’ or ‘The bringer of separation’, meaning the force that cuts you off from your true self – A Child of a Divine Creator. It's the accumulated weight of every wound that told you you're not enough, every perceived failure that has convinced you that you’re broken. Every message that said you're either too much or not enough or the shame inducing lie that says “You are fundamentally wrong”. That voice, that inner tormentor, is the evil this line – “Lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us From Evil” addresses. Deliverance isn't passive. It's not waiting for God to ZAP away your struggles. It's the active work of recognizing which thoughts are yours and which are the echo of old pain. It's learning to distinguish between the voice of your true self, the one connected to the Kingdom of The Creator, and the voice of your wounded self, the one running old programs. Here's the test. When you think about your purpose, your calling, the thing you're meant to bring into the world; what voice speaks up first? If it's the one that says “Who do you think you are? You're not qualified, not ready, not special enough.” That's not the truth. That's Bisha. That's ‘The Hurtful One’, trying to keep you small, separate from your power, disconnected from the source. But, deliverance comes in the moment you stop obeying that voice, the moment you recognize it as the intruder that it is and refuse to let it guide your choices. Not through force, not through battling it. But through alignment with something stronger. When you reconnect with The Kingdom of God Within. When you remember your true origin. When you align with divine will, that wounded voice may not disappear - but it loses its power and authority over you. It becomes background noise rather than your operating system.
