Making Waves
Sometimes we have to go with the flow and sometimes we have to make waves. To grow and heal, we set boundaries. That pisses people off, and for good reason. We are taking back the control they had over us and they don’t like it. So to get myself back, get my peace back, I’ll rock the boat, make some waves, even a tsunami, because what I’ve gone through was worse. What has this week been like for you?
Making Waves
🍪 The Oreo Question 🍪
Life and healing can sometimes feel like an Oreo.We all have that crunchy outer shell—our defenses, our struggles, the challenges we face every day. But inside, there’s something we’re working toward, something softer, sweeter, and worth the effort. 🌱 For some, that cream filling might be: - Peace in your own body - Freedom from toxic patterns - Confidence in your voice - Rest without guilt - Joy that doesn’t feel fleeting The outer shell isn’t bad—it’s part of what makes us whole. But the cream filling? That’s the heart of what we’re craving, what keeps us moving forward, even when life feels tough. 💜 Reflection for today: What cream filling are you trying to get to right now?
✨ The Power of a “F* You” Playlist** ✨
Sometimes healing isn’t about soft meditation music or gentle affirmations. Sometimes it’s about turning the volume all the way up and saying: “I’m done. I’m stronger. I’m reclaiming myself.” That’s where the F* You Playlist** comes in. 🎶 💥 A “F*** You” playlist is made of songs that: - Help you release anger in a healthy way. - Remind you of your worth. - Give you the energy to move through pain and stand tall. - Reconnect you with your power when someone (or something) tried to take it away. 🔥 Why it works: Music activates both our emotions and our body. When you sing, scream, or dance along, you’re not just listening—you’re releasing. You’re telling your nervous system: “I survived. I own my story now.” 🌱 Healing isn’t only quiet reflection. It’s also rage, rebellion, laughter, and strength. A playlist like this can be the spark you need to move forward on the hardest days. 👉 Challenge for you: Take 10 minutes today and start building your own “F*** You Playlist.”Fill it with songs that make you feel unstoppable. Songs that flip the script from victim to survivor, from broken to resilient. Here's one of mine: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5PnOfX56vzTRmXQjsiVVqf?si=PL-nUXVDSl6Eub6_id_htA Drop a comment and share a song or two that’s going on yours—let’s create a community playlist of empowerment together. 💜

Today's Anthem
Today's anthem comes from an unusual source, Disney's live action version of Aladdin! After my eyes were opened and I knew what was going on, things hit different. Check out Speechless, cuz I know that I won't go SPEECHLESS! https://youtu.be/mw5VIEIvuMI?si=54zD-J2pJNI-Alev

Progress Over Perfection
Every day, people go crazy trying to be perfect. To reach this standard, that to most, if not all, is unattainable. Instead, try to focus on the 1% rule. Try to be 1% better each day than the day before. Example: you want to increase your water intake (most of us either do or could use to). Your starting intake is 20oz of water. The next day you make it to 20.2 oz. You have just become 1% better. The next day, 20.202oz, then 20.406 and so on. Focusing on making progress over being perfect is the simplest way to succeed, with the least amount of stress. What are you making progress in today?
