Sip 'N Chat is happening in 6 days
Virtual Sip and Chat
I'm trying something new on Sunday, July 19th! Join me for a casual Sip & Chat where we can talk reselling, sourcing, what's selling, challenges you're running into, or anything else on your mind. Bring your favorite coffee, tea, or whatever you're sipping, and let's hang out for a bit. No formal presentation—just a chance to connect with other resellers and have a good conversation. I hope to see you there!

BOLO Monday: Doc Martens Vegan Crushed Velvet Boots
I always get excited when I see the same item sell more than once in a short period of time. Last week, I sold two pairs of Doc Martens Vegan 1460 Crushed Velvet Boots on Poshmark within just a few days of each other. That's usually a sign that there's stronger demand than many resellers realize. These aren't your standard leather Doc Martens. They're the vegan version with a crushed velvet finish, giving them a unique look that's often described as whimsygoth, fairycore, or alternative fashion. If you come across a pair while you're outsourcing, don't dismiss them just because they're velvet. They definitely have a following. A few things I'd look for: - The yellow stitching is intact. - The crushed velvet has minimal wear. - The soles have plenty of tread left. - The heel loops are in good condition. - The interior labels are still readable. One thing that helped my listings was including keywords that buyers are actually searching for. In addition to "Doc Martens Vegan 1460," I included terms like "Crushed Velvet," "Whimsygoth," "Fairy," "Fairycore," and "Alternative." Platform: Poshmark. Price sold: $119, cost of goods was $38.14, earnings on Poshmark $95.20, net profit $57.06. As always, don't keyword stuff. Make sure the words accurately describe the boots. Have you sold any Doc Martens lately? If so, I'd love to know which styles are moving for you. Sometimes it's the less common versions that end up being the fastest sellers.

The "eBay" Room
Here is a look at what I affectionately call the "eBay room" where I work my business. I could have tidied up but I figured this is the real me, this is how I work, so here it is! The room is always a work in progress... in fact I did take some time today to rearrange some merchandise so that is easier to access.

What's the One Flip You're Most Proud Of?
Let's have a little fun! I'd love to see your Favorite Flip of the Year (so far). It doesn't have to be your most profitable item. Maybe it sold quickly, maybe it was a great thrift find, maybe you were proud of the photos, or maybe it just has a fun story behind it. Share: • A photo of the item • What you paid (optional) • What it sold for (optional) • Why it was your favorite flip I'll go first in the comments. Looking forward to seeing everyone's favorites!
