🌕 The Full Moon Behind the Clouds 🌋
Yesterday was the Full Moon.
Today is still the Full Moon.
And both nights here on the Big Island have been incredibly cloudy.
No Mahina.
No stars.
Just clouds.
What's interesting is that I can still feel the energy of the Full Moon even though I can't see her.
The tides are still moving.
The moon is still full.
The cycle is still happening.
It's just hidden behind the clouds.
That feels like the perfect metaphor for this moment in my life.
There is so much in motion right now.
A volcano erupting.
A possible job opportunity in Alaska.
A move off the island I've called home.
A potential buyer for my van.
Conversations that are healing and deepening important relationships.
And yet, I can't fully see where any of it is leading.
A few months ago, that uncertainty would have terrified me.
Today, I'm practicing something different.
Trust.
Not blind trust.
Not pretending I know how everything will work out.
Just trusting the next step.
Trusting what I know today.
Trusting that I don't need to see the entire path to take the next obvious step.
Lately, my mantra has been:
✨ Let it be easy and obvious. ✨
Not because life is always easy.
But because I've spent enough years trying to force things that weren't ready.
The moon is still there, even when I can't see it.
The earth is still changing, even when the lava is hidden by clouds.
And maybe our lives are like that too.
Sometimes things are unfolding long before we can see the evidence.
For now, I'm staying present.
Taking the next step.
And trusting that what is meant for me is finding its way through the clouds.
