Not all WINS are about Revenue
Last week was rough. I’m working a part‑time offer, had barely 10 leads for the month, and in the middle of that I went through a tooth extraction, root canal, and an implant. The jaw pain and recovery completely threw off my focus and my inputs.
On Sunday, 28th June, I prayed and asked God to somehow send me a deal so I could close the month respectfully. Honestly, I didn’t see a way. One of my April discovery call prospects had ghosted me on the follow‑up—no replies to texts, emails, or even a low‑ticket AI summit invite—so I had mentally written her off.
But on Sunday she emailed asking to reconnect about the mentorship program. We spoke on Monday evening. On Tuesday, she paid $6k in full.
That night, in my gratitude journal, I thanked God and reflected on how I’d drifted by obsessing only over my inputs and forgetting who’s really in control.
Lesson: Have clear goals and put in high‑quality work daily, but remember that timing and outcomes aren’t fully in your hands. Do your part with excellence, and trust His plan for when and how the results show up.
