OK I know it's a bit counterintuitive to talk about reading about being outdoors but then you can say that goining online to discuss being outdoors is the same! 😉
Buuuut, I'm a real "give me proof not just anecdotes" nerd and I find that there are books that have collated the scientific evidence on how being outside can help us rebalance.
So, 2 I've currently go on the go, 'Good Nature' by Professor Kathy Willis' which looks at the science behind being in nature. The other one is 'in Praise of Walking' by Shane O'Mara, a professor of neuroscience. Both of these give the evidence of what happens to our brains in those activities outside which gives me the push to get back outside on a regular basis.
Anyone else got any other suggestions?
