Chamber of Commerce Screen Test
Hey hey, this is a really basic edit of a Screen Test we shot for our Chamber of Commerce the other day. We literally arrived and set up a basic set up in 30 minutes with no lights etc. A quick pass in post was done just to get the two different angles. There are some technical issues, but the goal was to see if there was any energy and if its a format we could carry through interviewing members of our local Chamber. If the chamber approves it we will go ahead and put some more effort into pre and post production.

Naming episodes
Do you know the name of your episode before you push record? Do you pick the name after the episode is edited? Is your episode title a question or a statement? I’ve seen people making mistakes when planning their episodes, so I’d like to do a live call about naming episodes soon. Would love to hear what you do and any questions you have for us to go over during the call. Thanks everyone! :)

Instead, he spent years working directly with individuals who use drugs, gaining firsthand insights into their everyday realities. This intimate proximity to those affected by substance use challenges conventional narratives often found in policy debates and academic texts. Section 2: Lessons from the Ground One of the key themes discussed in the podcast is the invaluable lessons learned from direct engagement with communities impacted by drug use. For instance, our guest highlights specific examples where traditional assumptions were shattered. He articulates how these experiences informed his understanding of stigma, structural harm, and the importance of empathy. By listening to the voices of those on the front lines, he underscores the need for policies that truly reflect the lived experiences of individuals rather than abstract theories. Section 3: The Role of Compassion and Connection The conversation also touches upon the psychological and emotional toll of working in environments shaped by loss and stigma. Our guest emphasizes the necessity of staying grounded and maintaining compassion in the face of adversity. He outlines strategies for fostering connections with individuals who use drugs, reinforcing the idea that understanding and support can lead to healing and recovery.
