A lot of people think they “fell off.”
But many times, life just changed and the system never got updated with it.
There have been seasons of my life where I had more time and energy to exercise consistently, structure meals, and do more.
And there have also been seasons where work, family, stress, and responsibilities changed what I realistically had capacity for.
That doesn’t mean failure.
It just means the old system may no longer fit your current phase of life.
Instead of constantly trying to “start over,” sometimes the better move is simply:
Update the system.
Maybe the updated version right now is:
- shorter workouts or just intentional walks
- simpler meals
- less structure
- focusing on awareness instead of perfection
That still counts.
