Real Life Has Seasons
One of the biggest disconnects in the health and fitness world is the idea that your eating and activity should always look the same no matter what life looks like.
But real life changes.
As a husband, father, and human being, there have been seasons where my capacity to exercise regularly has been much lower due to stress, responsibilities, and life demands.
That does not mean failure.
It means capacity changed.
The goal is not to force yourself into an ideal routine that may not fit your current season of life.
The goal is to take care of what you CAN within your current capacity.
Maybe right now that looks like:
  • shorter walks
  • simpler meals
  • less structure
  • focusing on awareness instead of perfection
That still matters.
Capacity changes over time. And when life changes, you can always build from there.
