Good morning !
The message for this morning is that Equipment & Subscriptions will delay you from being able to hire the help you need.
My bookkeeper told me that I’d spent 5 figures on subscriptions last year and from 2019 - 2023 I bought a lot of equipment.
Matter fact - I have a $2000 slider that still ain’t getting no love ( I need to sell it).
I used to feel like buying equipment was more important - because at least I had the equipment for life. Can’t buy a person like that.
But when you hire people something better happens.
- You are investing into their prosperity which God loves.
- You are showing your clients ( and others ) that money is not the most important thing to you.
- You’re bring new ideas , creativity and expertise that you can add to your processes & expertise
- You miss the experience of standing where your clients stand when they hire you. And the more you can understand them, the better equipped you are to serve them.
If these things feel small and insignificant - that may be the mindset delaying your growth.
So next time you go to do a job, hire someone - a cousin, a friend as a PA, just don’t do it alone.
