IRL Coffee/Tea Chats
Hey there, beautiful souls! I want to schedule live coffee/tea/bev of choice chats for the community. These are relaxed, informal, fun opportunities to connect in real time with other community members and share whatever we are up to, feeling, experiencing, ask questions-you name it! Now that I've officially retired, time is far more flexible for me. So, I want to know, what times would you be available to join?

The Compassionate Pause
Today, let's practice something ridiculously small. When you notice yourself criticizing, correcting, or rushing past yourself: Pause. One breath. Then ask: “What do I need from myself in this moment?” Not: “What should I do?” “How do I fix this?” “How do I make this go away?” What do I need from myself? Maybe the answer is reassurance. Maybe it's honesty. Maybe it's rest. Maybe it's accountability. Maybe it's simply, “Stop being such an asshole to yourself.” Whatever comes up, let the answer be information—not another assignment. 🩵💜 If you try it, tell us what you notice.

The Compassionate Pause
You Don't Have to Earn Compassion
Somewhere along the way, many capable women learned an odd equation: Do well → deserve rest. Help everyone → deserve care. Get it right → deserve grace. Hold it together → deserve compassion. But what if compassion isn't a reward? What if it's part of how you walk with yourself through the messy middle? You don't have to become perfect before you are allowed to be kind to yourself. And you don't have to stop being accountable, either. Both can be true. I can own my part. And I can refuse to make myself suffer for it. Where do you still believe you have to earn your own kindness?

What if Your Feelings Don't Need a Court Case?
We talked about how a feeling is information, not a verdict. Now let's take it one step further. What if the feeling doesn't need a defense attorney? “I’m tired.” Okay. “I’m angry.” Okay. “I want more.” Okay. “I don't know.” Also okay. We don't have to immediately determine whether the feeling is justified, rational, productive, or allowed. We can simply stay with it long enough to hear what it might be telling us. That's a very different relationship with ourselves. What feeling have you been cross-examining lately?
