What does it mean to rebel?
Defined: the action or process of resisting authority, control, or convention. This to mean truly means to move against the grain of what is expected of you. It means to deeply see yourself beyond what the projections of life have set forth for you. Rebellion means that you get to pick your path and move freely towards whatever you truly want and need. A redefining of yourself through the proverbial lens of existence itself. You define the rules, you determine what makes you safe, you ask deeper questions so the life you lead is massively different and defined by YOU! Gurus are there to teach us by asking, saying, and elaborating on their own understanding, but it’s up to us to make those determinations for ourselves. Believe what exists within you. This week we will do a guided meditation before book club and I will take you on a journey of self. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow at 730PM CST. Join the rebellion.

New time for book club/recap
Good morning everyone! We will be changing the book club meeting time to 630PM CST on Tuesdays! Last night in our Radical Rebels book club, we explored the Second and Third Agreements from The Four Agreements — Don’t Take Anything Personally and Don’t Make Assumptions. We opened with a grounding check-in and then dove into reflection, journaling, and group discussion. Each of us shared moments when we had taken something personally and the impact it had, as well as assumptions we’ve made that created unnecessary conflict. The conversations were honest, raw, and eye-opening, reminding us how often we let other people’s words or our own imagined stories shape our reality. We also practiced simple tools like using the mantra “It’s not about me” and learning to ask clarifying questions instead of assuming. By bridging the two agreements, we saw how they feed each other — taking things personally fuels assumptions, while assumptions make us take things more personally. Closing in circle, everyone named an insight or commitment they’re carrying forward, and the energy was powerful. This work is much deeper than reading a book; it’s practicing new ways of being together. Next week in our Radical Rebels book club we’ll be diving into the Fourth Agreement: Always Do Your Best. This agreement is all about self-compassion and presence — recognizing that “your best” looks different day to day, and that living from this place frees us from judgment and regret. It’s the heart of practicing the other three agreements and bringing them fully into our lives. To embody this lesson, we’ll also be spending extra time in a longer guided meditation practice—A progressive relaxation practice. This will be a chance to slow down, integrate what we’ve learned so far, and connect more deeply with ourselves and each other. Come ready to share, reflect, and drop into stillness as we move forward together in this journey. Thank you for being present and for being apart of this space! I am looking forward to watching each of you grow and thrive!

Let’s get personal
Today I completed day 9 of my training with the University of Health and Performance to become an Integrative Health Coach, meaning I am well on my way to learning even better coaching techniques to grow this community and my relationship with each of you. We have a problem in this society where its hard for others to listen without an intention of responding which creates a space (SOMETIMES) where we do not feel seen or heard. Yesterday I talked about my relationship with my family, particularity my parents, and how that has lead me to creating the community around me—People who are really interested in being the best version of themselves. I have been searching for my WHY! That why is really engrained in my love for other people. I am deeply passionate about creating a world where we can all interact with one another and have those relationships be a catalyst for change and growth. You are, after all, most like the 5 people you spend the most time around. I really want to create this space, for you, for us, and for the people who get to be apart of this! If there is anything I can do to make I this better for you, or you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out. Healed people heal people. I love you. Thank you! Kelly Fitzpatrick
