New time for book club/recap
Good morning everyone! We will be changing the book club meeting time to 630PM CST on Tuesdays! Last night in our Radical Rebels book club, we explored the Second and Third Agreements from The Four Agreements ā Donāt Take Anything Personally and Donāt Make Assumptions. We opened with a grounding check-in and then dove into reflection, journaling, and group discussion. Each of us shared moments when we had taken something personally and the impact it had, as well as assumptions weāve made that created unnecessary conflict. The conversations were honest, raw, and eye-opening, reminding us how often we let other peopleās words or our own imagined stories shape our reality. We also practiced simple tools like using the mantra āItās not about meā and learning to ask clarifying questions instead of assuming. By bridging the two agreements, we saw how they feed each other ā taking things personally fuels assumptions, while assumptions make us take things more personally. Closing in circle, everyone named an insight or commitment theyāre carrying forward, and the energy was powerful. This work is much deeper than reading a book; itās practicing new ways of being together. Next week in our Radical Rebels book club weāll be diving into the Fourth Agreement: Always Do Your Best. This agreement is all about self-compassion and presence ā recognizing that āyour bestā looks different day to day, and that living from this place frees us from judgment and regret. Itās the heart of practicing the other three agreements and bringing them fully into our lives. To embody this lesson, weāll also be spending extra time in a longer guided meditation practiceāA progressive relaxation practice. This will be a chance to slow down, integrate what weāve learned so far, and connect more deeply with ourselves and each other. Come ready to share, reflect, and drop into stillness as we move forward together in this journey. Thank you for being present and for being apart of this space! I am looking forward to watching each of you grow and thrive!
