Before going into the Totally Twisted manoeuvre, I did the Swinger manoeuvre to target the shoulders specifically. I felt that this enabled me to go a little deeper into the shoulder tension; this then made for a more comfortable session overall. Also, I've noticed that this practice is helping me to become more conscious of points throughout the day when I'm holding my shoulders tense and I'm then consciously lowering/loosening them.
