WELCOME TO PURE SKOOL Hey beautiful souls — I AM Joby Founder of Pure Fascia & Breathwork, Pure Academy, and this Pure Community. You’re here for a reason. And so am I. FROM BREATH… TO FASCIA… TO FREEDOM After guiding thousands through Breathwork, I was introduced to Human Garage Fascial Maneuvers — and it felt like discovering the missing piece of the puzzle. I used to think nothing could match the power of Breathwork. Then my first Fascial Maneuver session happened. That night, I felt 10+ years of stored trauma leave my body. Honestly — it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. (Yes, I even wrote about it in my book Pure Breathwork — available on Amazon… shameless plug 😄) What I realised was this: Most of the “weight” we carry in the body isn’t physical. It’s emotional energy that was never released. That trapped energy becomes pain. Then inflammation. Then illness. The body isn’t broken — it’s communicating. What if instead of saying “I’m broken”, we said: “I’m safe. I’m ready. I’m letting go.” This work isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about remembering who you are. The body is intelligent. The breath is the bridge. Awareness is the key. Manoeuvre & breathwork to cleanse the body
After suffering some sinus congestion this morning, I used the sinus release fascia manoeuvre, then went into a breathwork session that started with 25 minutes of shamanic breathing then moved onto a pure breathwork session (rebirthing/shamanic/soma/weave). Straight after the hour long session, I felt much clearer in my sinuses and able to breathe easier through the nose again ♥
Trying to build new habits
Although I know that regular fascia manoeuvres & breathwork sessions are good for me, it's still quite easy to derail my plans to do them. I've been struggling with personal issues with my daughter's Mum and that has caused me to 'fall off the wagon'. I'll be back on it today and will post again when I've done a session
Good to be back at it
Happily, I got back into the swing of things this evening. I did the stress reset (palate swipe/totally twisted/anti-gravity), pullover to release tension in the lower back, then a 25 minute Soma breath session. I could really feel the rhythm in the breath and felt powerful energy building in my sacral chakra, which I moved with and breathed into to move it up the body. Simply blissful 🤗
