When You Don’t Have the Answers | Monday Push

Good morning,

I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim. -Ecclesiastes 8:17 NLT

Have you ever had a child constantly ask, “Why?” They want to understand how everything works. After a while, the adult usually says, “I don’t know!”

Truthfully, many of us are in an “I don’t know” season right now.

I don’t know how we’re going to pay for it.

I don’t know if things will get better.

I don’t know how this will work out.

I don’t know what’s next.

It sucks.

We want answers. We want certainty. We want a clear plan. But even Solomon, one of the wisest men in the Bible, understood that he didn’t know everything.

So why do we put so much pressure on ourselves to always have the solution?

Sometimes faith means trusting God while you are still waiting for answers.

If you are in an uncertain season, remember this: while God is working on the things you cannot see, continue being responsible with the things you can control. Keep budgeting. Keep learning. Keep praying. Keep showing up.

God is still working, even when it doesn't feel like it.

There is something on the other side of this season. You just have to keep going through the storm to see the light.

What situations am I trying to control that I need to place in God’s hands?

Prayer of the Week

Dear God, I know I sometimes want control over everything in my life. Help me release what isn’t my responsibility and trust You fully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
