Good morning,
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV
“I just need more time to…”
That’s something I’ve said more times than I’d like to admit.
Procrastination is still something I’m working through. And if I’m honest, my lack of urgency has cost me opportunities.
As we wrap up the first three chapters of Ecclesiastes, here’s what stands out to me:
- Don’t just learn a lesson—apply it
- More doesn’t always mean better
- You only get one life to live
Time is a gift. And how we use it shapes the life we experience.
When it comes to your finances, the choices you make today matter.
- Avoiding it now can create stress later
- Facing it now can create peace later
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about direction.
Where you are today is a result of past decisions—but where you go next is still in your hands.
So let me ask you: What time is it for you?
We’re seeing real shifts in the economy. This is not the time to sit back and hope things work out. This is the time to be intentional.
God has entrusted you with what you have. And how you manage it matters.
When you follow His principles, you may not control every outcome—but you can experience peace, even in uncertain times.
Reflection question:
What is one area of your finances you’ve been putting off? If nothing changes, what will that lead to?
Prayer of the Week:
Dear God, forgive me for putting things off. Help me use my time wisely and take action where I’ve been hesitant. Give me discipline to follow through. In Jesus’ name, Amen
