Today is my mom’s birthday, and in honor of her, I want to share a few lessons I have learned from her over the years.

- Do not treat people wrong, even if they treat you wrong.
You may think these are just life lessons, but they are payday tips too.

- Generosity does not have to be advertised.
- Your values should show up in your spending.
- Sometimes sacrifice is necessary to reach your goals.
- A person of character and integrity will always go further than someone who cuts corners.
I am thankful for the example my mom has set for me over the years. The older I get, the more I realize that the lessons we learn at home often shape how we handle money, relationships, and life.
