Missing Introduction and Chapter 1

Hi, i just started writing my first book. I finished the Introduction and Chapter 1. The writing assistant was acting glitchy, telling me it didn't understand my edits, but then started working normal. We had finished the changes/edits. I've come back to start working on Chapter 2 and it's gone back to the BRD and asking me to start writing. Are all my changes gone? The writing assistant and i had done some great editing, but now the Introduction and Chapter 1 aren't there and it looks like I'm starting for the first time? How do I get them back? Thanks so much.
