Afternoon gang, holiday done, finally back in the UK and refreshed ready to roll!
I wanted to share something I was thinking about whilst I was away....
Too many people focus on low leverage tasks.
Ask yourself 'What's the 20% of work you can do, that will give you 80% of results'
Here's an example: You send out 30 DM'S on social media and it takes you an hour to do.
You might get 1 or 2 replies.
BUT WHAT IF...
Instead of that, you spent that same hour, creating videos and you posted them on socials?
That sort of content is 'one to many.'
You might get 500 views and onboard several clients. Plus those videos will keep generating leads and conversations for weeks, months, years potentially.
You need to ask yourself - Am I using a 'high leverage approach' or not.
Volume and action is something we speak about a lot. If you know it's a numbers game, how can you do bigger numbers?
Straight away that mindset shift is absolutely HUGE!
Posting a single post on socials and thinking - 'Hey I posted my post, I'm good for today' and you pat yourself on the back and tick off that task for the day... that's a big mistake.
Alex Hormozi talks about 'high value' tasks and his mentor once told him, his numbers were far too low.
Alex Hormozi now posts around 35,000 pieces of content a year that works out to around 100 a day.
That's insane. He has a team of people helping him hit those numbers. BUT....
There's a lesson to be learned from this.
Most people play small. They play way too small, but they think they're doing enough.
If it's just a numbers game (and it is) then to increase your leads and conversations - the answer is to post more! Way more!
More posts = more opportunity to be seen = more trust built = more conversations = more business = more money banked.
If you created a talking head video where you talked about a topic your ideal client avatar cares about for 5 minutes all you have to do, is chop that video up into smaller videos and you have 5 different pieces of content.
Short videos are where the attention is at these days. All the data points that way.
People are much more likely to watch a short video 30 to 60 seconds in length, than they are a 2 hour long form video.
- Shorts are easier and quicker to create - WIN
- No need to be fancy, raw and with mistakes shows your REAL and not Ai - WIN
- Everybody has time to create a 5 minute video every single day - WIN
- The question is... do you want to or not?
- Do you WANT the leads, WANT the conversations, REALLY WANT the money banked?
And YES 100% this has zero to do with property, but it has everything to do with how to generate investor leads, jv leads, property deal leads and all that equates to money.
Low Leverage Versus High Leverage
It's no longer 'SOCIAL MEDIA' it's about 'INTEREST MEDIA'.
You no longer get your friends and family appearing on your social media news feed, have you noticed?
Your news feed is now filled with the things you're 'interested in.'
You watch a video about dogs.... all of a sudden your social feed is all dogs.
You watch a video about property flipping you're news feed is full of property based content.
