Leverage is Powerful (when done right)
Afternoon gang, holiday done, finally back in the UK and refreshed ready to roll! I wanted to share something I was thinking about whilst I was away.... Too many people focus on low leverage tasks. Ask yourself 'What's the 20% of work you can do, that will give you 80% of results' Here's an example: You send out 30 DM'S on social media and it takes you an hour to do. You might get 1 or 2 replies. BUT WHAT IF... Instead of that, you spent that same hour, creating videos and you posted them on socials? That sort of content is 'one to many.' You might get 500 views and onboard several clients. Plus those videos will keep generating leads and conversations for weeks, months, years potentially. You need to ask yourself - Am I using a 'high leverage approach' or not. Volume and action is something we speak about a lot. If you know it's a numbers game, how can you do bigger numbers? Straight away that mindset shift is absolutely HUGE! Posting a single post on socials and thinking - 'Hey I posted my post, I'm good for today' and you pat yourself on the back and tick off that task for the day... that's a big mistake. Alex Hormozi talks about 'high value' tasks and his mentor once told him, his numbers were far too low. Alex Hormozi now posts around 35,000 pieces of content a year that works out to around 100 a day. That's insane. He has a team of people helping him hit those numbers. BUT.... There's a lesson to be learned from this. Most people play small. They play way too small, but they think they're doing enough. If it's just a numbers game (and it is) then to increase your leads and conversations - the answer is to post more! Way more! More posts = more opportunity to be seen = more trust built = more conversations = more business = more money banked. If you created a talking head video where you talked about a topic your ideal client avatar cares about for 5 minutes all you have to do, is chop that video up into smaller videos and you have 5 different pieces of content.

Hi Paul, Hmmm very interesting and insightful and Its something I have been thinking about doing and re starting Question? "Would be able to go through it in more detail and give us your case studies or examples by any chance. on our fortnightly live online Masterclass about this topic or subject?" As I did use to do both "Facebook" and "Instagram" REELS about "SA's" (Ie Serviced Accommodation) Or Air BnB's.

The part of property investing we don’t talk about enough
Sometimes the biggest obstacle to doing the next property deal isn’t finding the deal. It’s having the capacity to act when the right opportunity appears. You can spend weeks analyzing properties, learning strategies and looking at numbers, but when a good deal finally comes along, you may still find yourself asking: - Do I have enough liquidity to move quickly? - How much of my own cash am I comfortable putting in? - What happens if the refurb costs more than expected? - Am I relying too heavily on one source of funding? - If this deal ties up my capital for longer than planned, what does that do to the next opportunity? I’ve found that building property wealth isn’t only about finding good deals. It’s also about building the financial flexibility to keep taking action. For me, having another business alongside property has been useful for exactly that reason. My online pet brand became an additional income stream that could operate alongside the property business, rather than everything depending on the next property transaction. That changed the way I looked at opportunities. Instead of thinking only: Can I afford this deal? I started thinking: How can I build my overall position so I’m better prepared for the next deal too? Would like to hear from others here: What’s the biggest thing holding you back from your next property deal right now, finding the right deal, funding it, confidence in the numbers, or simply having enough available capital?

Went out my comfort zone yesterday
Yesterday I sat down for a two hour recorded interview at GunnerCooke media studio in Manchester, answering questions about property sourcing on camera. The first few minutes were rough. I’d never done anything like it and it showed. Months ago I’d have found a reason to push it back or talk myself out of it altogether. This time I just sat with the nerves and let them pass. By the end I’d stopped noticing the camera. It just became a conversation. I don’t take the opportunity lightly. It only happened because of a connection I made through LinkedIn, So Yung, someone I’d never have crossed paths with if I hadn’t kept showing up and posting consistently, even on the days it felt pointless. Off the back of it I’ve built strong connections with two lawyers I wouldn’t have met any other way. That’s the part people skip when they talk about content: the payoff isn’t the post itself, it’s who reads it and what it leads to months later. Everything you’ve told me has held up. To get where I want to be I have to put myself out there, on camera, in front of people, whether it’s comfortable or not. I wouldn’t be at this point without your continuous support, @Paul Rose. Small thing on paper, sitting in a chair answering questions for two hours. Squarely bigger than it looks, and it wouldn’t have happened without the push to keep showing up.
