Funnel Building Is Getting Easier. Now What?
When the Skill Becomes a Commodity I had a realization today.. AI is removing a lot of the technical hurdles in funnel building. Designs can be generated instantly. Layouts can be mapped automatically. Non-technical users can now translate AI designs into functional ClickFunnels pages without needing a developer. That’s incredible. But it also means something else. When something becomes easier to produce, it becomes cheaper. And when it becomes cheaper, it becomes a commodity. Funnel builds, on their own, are moving in that direction. Not because they don’t matter. But because the barrier to entry is collapsing. And when the barrier collapses, the pricing follows. So if you’re in this space, you have two choices. Compete on ease and speed.. and race everyone else to the bottom. Or move up the value chain. Because tools get automated. Responsibility doesn’t. Outcomes don’t. Oversight doesn’t. The person who assembles the funnel becomes replaceable. The person who ensures it works, performs, and protects revenue becomes indispensable. That’s the shift. Funnel building isn’t just about building pages faster. It’s about attaching yourself to the layer above the build. Monitoring. Protection. Accountability. Monthly recurring responsibility. That’s how you differentiate. That’s how you avoid becoming a commodity. Every wave of technology lowers one layer of value. And creates a premium on the next layer up. The question is simple: Are you going to defend the old layer.. Or step into the new one? 🚀 - James
