Funnel Lab Update – Badge 4 & 5 Earned
Today was a mix of pride and pressure.
I earned Badge 4 and Badge 5 in my Funnel Builder Certification, and I felt accomplished.
I was on a high.
Things were clicking.
Then I opened Badge 6 and saw the word “sell.”
Its time to step out if my comfort zone.
I have to fo meet people.
I have talk to people.
It is time to SELL.
OH SNAP! ITS TIME TO SELL.
It’s not that I don’t know how to sell - actually when i worked for companies, I was usualy the top profucer every sales cycle.
I’ve been a top sales producer at GoDaddy, MCI WorldCom, Sprint, and even Sears back in the day.
In 1999 i stsrted a call center from my kitcjen table. I hired two friends to make the calls after i had secured 2 large contracts.
Those two friends turned into a 32 seat call center within the first 30! Days
So i know how ro sell., but i have to remeber that I am pretty good at selling - maybe rusty,
So why did this time feel so uncomfortable?
Because this time it’s on me! It’s my brand.
My results.
There’s no big company brand behind me. It’s just me standing behind what I built and the results i deliver
I went to my first in-person sales meeting with Lucas. I showed him the website rebuild. He loved it. He saw the difference.
But he said he’s not in a revenue stage yet and can’t invest right now.
When our meeting was over, had this quiet thought inside that: I could have said something more. Maybe pushed a lil more.
Selling your own vision stretches you in a different way.
It exposes you.
It forces you to confront hesitation, insecurities and self sabatoging fears.
And I was ablr to recognize that feeling. Russell Brunson calls it “resistance”.
Every level up i have experienced in this entrepreneurial journey happened when I pushed past some uncomfortable situation. .
So I’m back at it tomorrow snd will be going to the ASU entrepreneurship meeting.
.
Growth isn’t always easy.
Sometimes it’s quiet and uncomfortable.
But I’m still building. Still learning.
And that’s the win.🏆
