I woke up this morning with an epiphany!
Using Skool as a lead magnet (like Russel is doing here) is a great idea, but converting free members into customers / clients is the challenge.
Lots of Skool owners are doing free on-boarding calls as way to upsell. I was planning to do the same, but dreading the idea of endless calls with unqualified people OR having to hire a closer / setter.
Then I noticed how Russel is doing it differently.
Rather than doing on boarding calls or DM outreach, he is promoting free webinars and his $100 3-day day event (which I signed up for) and I imagine he’ll be selling something at that event too.
This sounds like a MUCH better option for me, so I will be watching closely, taking notes and doing as the master does.
