Is Google Ads Ripping Us Off?

OK I’ve listened to this podcast twice now (lol), and it’s absolutely mind-blowing! We’ve all likely noticed—or at least all suspected—that when we increase our Google ad spend, our CPC "magically" 🧙‍♂️ goes up too, (basically the law of diminishing returns - and then it caps).

John Moran, a Google Ads expert I’ve followed for a while, tested this on 10 accounts and shared his findings (like in the video he actually screen-shared it to prove it). He removed conversion tracking and showed his screen in the video to reveal what happened. It confirms what many of us have suspected: Google seems to be, in a sense, price gouging and how to avoid it (but man this is ballsy 🫣😬🤯, to say the least!!)
