NURSES FREE CE on Mental Heath in Disasters
Kindness Summit for Global Change
I really do believe that KINDNESS AND WELL-BEING is the future of innovation, healthcare resilience, and success in our world. This sounds "Pollyanna" to many, but I have seen it proven with data and demonstration. I am proud to participate in this week's K-20 Kindness Summit at the ROC Center at Florida Gulf Coast University. I will be joining global leaders, educators, and change-makers for a powerful weekend centered on connection, compassion, and the impact of kindness across communities and organizations. May 14–17, 2026, at the Florida Gulf Coast University & Drury Inn & Suites, Fort Myers, Florida. Featuring inspiring voices from around the world, including leaders from the Global Kindness Institute, Kindness Unlimited, Kindr Foundation, and more. I am especially inspired to meet Brian McClaren, author of Life After Doom: Wisdom and Courage for a World Falling Apart. I am proudly joined by one of the kindest nurses on the planets - Power Up Nursing's co-founder and globally recognized podcast producer Leanne Meier

Come out and support the 45th Annual Scholarship and Awards Luncheon of the Miami Chapter of the Black Nurses Association. Saturday, May 16, 2026 - 11 am - 3 pm Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina I will be a guest panelist addressing these important questions: 1. How can health care systems better support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of nurses, and what policy changes are needed to make nurse wellness a sustained priority rather than a short-term initiative? 2.
