I have to pitch to the Chamber of Commerce this Thursday. Here is a rough draft of my pitch: Hello! My name is Jennifer Purcell. As someone who has been in your shoes running a business--I run a crafting business, I was falling behind on doing the books. I had 6 months of receipts, inventory, sales, and sales tax that I was behind on paying. Because I had taken numerous accounting courses, while pursuing my degrees, it was a no-brainer for me to become a bookkeeper. In no time at all, I was able to get my books caught up and to achieve financial clarity. If any of this resonates with you, meet with me after the meeting. How should I tweak it?
