How you do one thing is how you do everything!
When I was a child, I had to practice piano 8 hours a day. Had many teachers and schools (we were moving in a new country every 6 months!) and alot of them I didn’t really like, as a humans not as teachers. They were assigning me to play songs I didn’t like… and were super strict and demanding…
The combo of me having to practice those lengthy hours and teachers I didn’t like was making piano a chore and I didn’t enjoy it. It was a CHORE!
I got creative tho and found that I can trick myself into having joy in my practice by playing childlike whatever the heck I want (for hours!), because luckily my parents didn’t have musical background and didn’t know I was not practicing what I was supposed to lol and often asked me why my teachers are complaining form me that I am not practicing when in fact, I spent 8 hours a day at the piano 😂
Because of this! Nowadays, I teach people what they want to play and listen!
Because of this, nowadays I preach and I do as I preach - short joyful practices but frequent ones are a winning strategy to enjoy what you do!
The fastest way to get to your Joy Zone is being in it! Doing the thing that makes you happy and brings you JOY and brings your vibe up high!
Then you do everything else from a high vibe place!
Then you show up at your best everywhere and anytime!
The approach towards the instrument is the approach towards everything else!
How you do one thing is how you do everything!
How do you approach things daily? “Meh, I have to do this…” or “yeiiii! I GET to do this!!!”???
