The number I keep staring at is the one next to it.
4,500 subs against 1.3 million+ lifetime views.
I think I know why, and it isn’t complicated.
I do ask people to subscribe. I put it at the end.
Then I actually looked at the retention graph.
On one of my tutorials the average person watches about a fifth of it before they leave , which makes sense, they came to fix one thing, it got fixed, they left.
So my ask has been sitting in a part of the video most people never reach.
I think I am dealing with a placement problem.
Next few uploads I’m intending to move it.
Maybe one ask, in the middle, right after the part where the thing actually works and the viewer is at their happiest.
Not at the start, because nobody subscribes to a video they haven’t watched yet.
Next goal is 10,000 before the end of the year.
Ambitious but possible.
Genuinely curious what people are stuck on , answer with whatever comes to mind first.
