Hi im Mike photographer based outta mi
Been spending more time turning the camera around on myself lately… and honestly, it’s been one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve done. Self portraits hit different. There’s no hiding, no distractions—just you, your thoughts, your mood, and whatever you’re carrying that day. This one right here feels heavy, but real. And I’ve learned that’s where the growth lives… in the real. It’s crazy to think how far I’ve come since I first picked up a camera. From not knowing anything, to now being able to create something that actually reflects how I feel in the moment. Over 90,000 photos later, and I’m still learning every single day… still chasing something deeper. Photography has become more than just taking pictures for me—it’s therapy, it’s expression, it’s how I process life when words don’t come easy. This is me. No filters on the emotion… just light, shadow, and truth. And I’m proud of how far I’ve come. 🖤

1st time taking pics of turkeys
Some turkeys walking downs the street caught my eye so I went outside with my canon r5 and tamron 70-200mm 2.8 to snap a few pics. Happy with my canon and tamron wasn't expecting the lens to be this great for a 3rd party lens on the camera with an adapter. But it works smooth fast Autofocus works great. If your looking to learn more about your canon r5 or just wanna join a new community im starting for canon r5 owners. https://www.skool.com/the-r5-portrait-mastery-club-5012/about?ref=1b66bcd8ecb94451b80c119a76eaf317

The aftermath...
Something from the only wedding i ever shot. I think his face says it all.

Random bits and pieces...
Some out of cam shots that I like. If you zoom in, you'll see the specks of dust, crumbs and even a fingerprint on the knife. 🤦🏽‍♂️ But still "crispy" as @Tiahna L put it. ;) 1) Mizio's street food, Rome. Their in house brew. 2) Tsingtao Chinese lager, China (obviously) 3) MEPRA cutlery, Brescia 4) Random Donuts for a café near my house. 5) Aigner cologne shot from a few years back. Sadly they used a different shot, but I like this one as I got the chrome lit perfectly. No reflections
