New Tutorial!
Hey everyone! I just published my very first painting tutorial where I painted a golden retriever in a sunny, outdoor setting. I go over my process for mixing colors and blocking in large shapes first then moving on to secondary shapes and finally details. I hope it helps you guys with your painting process and if you have any questions or feedback, please reach out to me! I need help!
I need your help coming up with the curriculum for the intro class. What questions do you have about painting pet portraits? What medium(oil, acrylic, etc) do you want to learn how to use? I'm thinking of starting out with teaching how to paint with acrylics, but I want you guys to let me know what YOU need.

Where to start adding details
Hey guys! In the quick video, I describe a method for adding details to a painting that has a lot going on. In this example, the most important point of focus is the baby in the center, so once I blocked in all of my main shapes, I started at the baby’s face and I’m slowly making my way, spiraling out from that point. Each brush stroke on make is in support of that point of focus. This not only makes it much easier to decide what part to paint next, but it also makes the painting much more cohesive and it gives the eye a natural path through and around the painting. Let me know if this tip helps you guys and comment any questions you have!

I tried to make a video explaining the painting I’m working on but the microphone died 10 seconds in 🤦‍♂️. Maybe next time lol
